Intersection Accidents in Reno

Reno, NV - Seven-Car Pileup at McCarran Blvd & S Virginia St Injures Multiple Victims

Las Vegas has some of the biggest, busiest intersections in Nevada. Unfortunately, these intersections are some of the most common areas for serious car accidents. Nevada drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians are exposed to greater odds of being injured or killed when drivers do not obey traffic laws such as yielding the right-of-way.

When drivers don’t follow the law, authorities consider them negligent. Officials may then hold these parties liable for the injuries they cause.

Intersections, and the driving laws that govern them, are essential for the efficient operation of our roadways. Without these laws, making it safely from one place to another would be almost impossible.

Even though authorities regulate them via road signs and stop lights, intersections remain very dangerous.

However, anyone injured in an intersection accident by someone else’s negligence might have a valid case for taking legal action. In order to determine if you have a legitimate personal injury case, speak with an experienced Nevada personal injury attorney who can advise you on the best course of action for your circumstances.

Las Vegas-Area Motorcycle Accidents

Reno, NV - Serious Motorcycle Accident on I-15 SB at Owens Ave Ends in Injuries

Officials with the U.S. Department of Transportation say motorcycle accidents are responsible for nearly 15% of all traffic fatalities nationwide. Over the past several years, motorcycle wrecks have steadily increased.

In fact, these accidents have more than doubled in the last 25 years. Moreover, data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that one in seven fatalities on American roadways occurred on a motorcycle. And despite a general decline in Nevada motor vehicle accidents, traffic deaths as a result of motorcycle collisions are at their highest level in more than a decade.

Unfortunately, tragic consequences are more likely to befall victims after a motorcycle accident. Motorcyclists are at much higher risk for serious injury or death because they lack the protection a passenger vehicle offers other drivers.

For example, crash victims may sustain TBIs, catastrophic organ damage, and more. Sadly, this can mean costly medical bills and even job loss or death for those injured.

Thankfully, those affected by these motorcycle wrecks can contact a Nevada motorcycle crash lawyer for help. In some cases, a lawyer well-versed in Nevada state law can help victims or their families seek their full, fair settlement from a personal injury or a wrongful death lawsuit.

The Reno motorcycle accident attorneys at Valiente Mott will fight to secure the justice you deserve. Here at Valiente Mott Injury Attorneys, we believe that victims and their families should never pay out of pocket.
