Valiente Mott Injury Attorneys proudly partnered with the Clark County School District through its Adopt-A-School program to support students at John S. Park Elementary. Through this initiative, our team delivered 50 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students experiencing homelessness and other at-risk students, while also helping equip the teachers and staff who support them every day.
With Clark County recently reporting a 12% increase in homelessness, the need to support vulnerable students and families continues to grow.
By working directly with the school, our goal was to help students start the year with the resources and confidence they need to succeed.
The backpack donation was just the first of several planned efforts at the school, including an upcoming bicycle helmet drive and ongoing reading time with students throughout the year. We also hope this effort encourages other local businesses to support the Adopt-A-School programs and other community initiatives serving students and families in need.
As Dave Gregorio, Director of Case Management at Valiente Mott Injury Attorneys, shared with KNTV reporters, the firm’s personal injury work often means seeing firsthand the serious consequences when children are injured in bicycle accidents, making the opportunity to support bicycle safety efforts especially meaningful.
