A true Nevada native, Jim was born and raised in small, rural towns all around the State. After graduating from Pahrump Valley High School, Jim attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to become a Physical Therapist. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Injury Management and Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from UNLV, Jim worked as a Physical Therapist for 14 years providing direct treatment to patients in a variety of settings, including Acute Care Hospitals, Outpatient clinics, Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Home Health. After being accepted into the part-time evening program at UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, Jim continued to work full-time as a physical therapist providing patient care during the day while attending law school in the evenings.
A devoted husband and father of 3 children, Jim loves to spend time with his family, watch his kids compete in sports, travel, golf, and play basketball.
Jim holds licenses to practice law in Nevada and Oklahoma and still maintains a license to practice physical therapy in Nevada. He is a member of the Nevada Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the American Physical Therapy Association.
