Man Killed in Box Truck Accident on Sparks Blvd


Sparks, NV (September 24, 2021) – Authorities said one man died in a box truck accident that occurred on Sparks Boulevard Tuesday night, September 21.

Officers with the Sparks Police Department reported that the truck was headed northbound on Sparks just before 11:00 p.m. Shortly thereafter, the driver crossed the center line for unknown reasons and struck a brick wall on the other side of the road. Despite life-saving measures attempted at the scene, EMS personnel pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.

It’s unclear if any other vehicles were involved in the crash, or if any passengers were traveling with the box truck driver.

Investigators are still piecing together the events causing the wreck and have not provided any other details about the victim. Police asked anyone with information to contact Secret Witness.
