Sparks, NV (October 11, 2021) – A driver struck and seriously injured a pedestrian on Thursday evening, October 7, in the Sparks area.
The driver hit the pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, as he crossed North McCarran Boulevard.
Per the initial information released by authorities, the auto-pedestrian accident took place in the 500 block of North McCarran Boulevard. Upon their arrival to the scene, emergency crews transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the events leading up to the accident remain unknown. Officials have not released the identity of the injured victim.
The crash is under active review at this time.
