Man Hospitalized in Auto-Pedestrian Accident at 7800 Rainbow Blvd & Robindale Rd

Las Vegas, NV (November 6, 2021) – Metro police offices are investigating a serious auto-pedestrian crash that occurred near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road on Saturday morning, November 6.

Shortly before 9:00 a.m., police responded to a private drive at 7800 Rainbow Boulevard, close to Robindale.

Initial reports indicate that a 73-year-old man was walking northbound on Rainbow Boulevard when the driver of a Chrysler Sebring, making a left turn from a private residence, hit him.

EMS units rushed to the scene and transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma in critical condition.

The 71-year-old driver of the Chrysler Sebring remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity but say the investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section remains active.
